 School Goal
By June 2018, Dillard Drive Middle School will meet or exceed expected growth as measured by EVAAS and all subgroups under 80% CCR will show at least a 10% increase in percent CCR measured by EOG scores.


Key Process 1
During the 2017-2018 school year teacher/staff will: 
Develop common assessments which are tightly aligned to the standards. Use timely and varied assessment data to determine mastery as well as the need for intervention for students of all tiers.

Action step 1: Creation of assessments that are tightly aligned to the verb of the standard.
Action step 2: Teachers will create a data tracking/progress monitoring tool.
Action step 3: All major CFA’s will be analyzed using the DDMS data protocol.

 

Key Process 2

We will create and maintain a positive school climate
Action step 1: SIP Team will use a protocol to analyze the 2016-2017 Student Perception Survey to determine next steps.


Key Process 3
Teachers/staff will engage in professional development to build capacity and understanding around literacy and mathematical shifts.

 

Action step 1:  Math department will engage in a year long book study Principles to Actions.
Action step 2: All other teachers will engage in PD around the three literacy shifts.
